Maintaining Good
Before graduating from college, I was an actual Good Humor Man for 4 years – it paid for my tuition! After Graduating I worked for Procter & Gamble for 2 years then opened an insurance agency which I have owned and operated for the last 43 years. In addition, I have held several leadership positions in my community where my wife and I raised our five children. I have coached over thirty youth sports teams. Lastly, I have given numerous seminars to peers in my industry on “how goal setting & planning lead to being in good humor also known as happiness.”
I realize your top priority is to get your students to graduate with the necessary hours required. I am simply offering to conduct a quick seminar to enhance their preparedness level prior to graduation. In the short term it might even help them enjoy their current classes more thoroughly.
I have created a 45-minute seminar, which I can present as a “guest speaker” to a specific class or can be offered as a volunteer “sign up” for students outside of their class requirements. My talk will teach them how to set goals, establish a plan to achieve those goals, excite them to enjoy their current studies, and produce a happier student.
There are companies offering coaching or speakers for sizeable fees. I am offering my time because I think I can help make a difference. You will get a 45-year experienced player instead of a “certified coach”.
